To Place a DataGroup Annotation on an HVAC Round Elbow

Click the Place DataGroup Annotation tool.
Identify an HVAC round elbow with a data point.
The annotation cell associated with the round elbow will appears on the pointer. The attachment point is the cell origin defined earlier with the Manage DataGroup Annotation Cells tool. The annotation format during dynamics shows the DataGroup property names being annotated along with underscore characters representing the additional characters permitted (also defined earlier).

Complete the placement with an additional data point.
The annotation is placed. The values associated to the round elbow instance become visible. The presence underscore characters means the DataGroup property SystemID is not defined.

Tip: It may be necessary to reset the default annotation cell via the Annotate Tool Settings dialog. This ensures the correct cell is selected when applying the DataGroup Annotation.

Click the Cell column for the row that defines the MainCallout. Another dialog opens with a list of available DataGroup annotation cells. Select from the list to define the default annotation.
